Wedding Entertainment is our specialty! We have done over a thousand weddings and are adept at multiple location set ups at each site, providing music and microphones for the ceremony, cocktail, dining and dancing areas as needed. Our jocks are all talented emcees that will guide you through the formal events of the reception and will custom tailor the music to you and your family’s unique specifications!
We pride ourselves on creating a warm and sophisticated environment that eventually spills out onto the dance floor, culminating into a high energy multi-generational dance party! We book live music, disc jockeys and performers to enhance your beautiful wedding day, offering personal consultations to make sure you and your guests have the time of their lives.

DJ LESLIE
DJ Leslie [Owner] started out in College Radio on Cape Cod while she was in her early teens. Several years later she was spinning for the dance scene in Boston and Manhattan, then moved on to play clubs all over the world.. Leslie hosted music programs on BET, and was featured on numerous news & entertainment programs.
Feature articles written about DJ Leslie appear in The Seattle P-I, Seattle Times, Vancouver Sun and Seattle Magazine among others. Locally, she has performed at The Showbox, Paramount Theatre, Benaroya Hall, and was opening act for national bands including Dave Matthews and Earth Wind and Fire. DJ Leslie and Symphony conductor Ludovic Morlot combined their talents with the Seattle Symphony and created a Music Mash up of the RITE OF SPRING. Leslie teamed up with Macklemore and the RTF Crew for Runway to Freedom, a night of music and fashion to benefit Mary’s Place. Leslie has been named on countless boards and committees in the Seattle area, lending her event insight, organizational skills and expertise for events. Most recently, Leslie was asked to fly back to Manhattan to do the opening week after-party of Cher’s Broadway musical “The Cher Show” and has headlined as DJ and Emcee for many corporate fetes, including HULU, Expedia, and Allen Institute.
DJ SEAN
DJ Sean [owner] has spun over 1000 events in night clubs, corporate events and weddings. Originally from Los Angeles, he is also a successful musician, having toured and recorded for various music projects, including a stint for A&M Records.. “I like to think that my music background helps me when I DJ,” states Sean, “it provides me with a good sense of timing and feeling, and my diverse musical taste allows me to adapt to any situation.”
This helps especially with weddings, where so many clients have so many different tastes: “I’m amazed at how many different kinds of music people are into. While a bride may be into 90s hip hop, the groom may be into old school funk and edm. The key is making everyone happy at a wedding reception, including the parents and grandparents!” A record collector since the age of 10, Sean’s collection is extensive and eclectic to say the least. From Ella Fitzgerald to the Velvet Underground, Dr. Dre to Drake and everything in between, he can handle any request from the typical top 40 to that obscure 80’s Cure song that the bride just has to hear. Lately he has been expanding his world music collection, allowing for an even wider musical palette. His true love is jazz and the classics however – his favorite singers are Nat King Cole and Fats Waller – but he has no problem mixing them in with a great Motown hit, a swinging Latin tune, an indie rock song or a newer dance floor hit. The key is finding the right place for the right song.

Owners Leslie and Sean Wheatley have owned and operated Seattle Parties since 1998. They started off in club and concert promotions and folks began asking them to assist in weddings, themed company parties, corporate conferences and events. The dynamic duo soon thrived in the private event industry. Seattle Parties evolved into a flourishing event production and entertainment company as wedding and event planners sought out their expertise for lavish parties. Contacts with local musicians and DJs allowed Seattle Parties to offer the best in town, and bring in celebrity national acts. Karaoke and Silent Disco have been added to the repertoire, rounding out the musical bill . Whether you need an inspiring corporate speaker, audacious aerialist or a talented dance troupe….Seattle Parties can supply it all. DJ Sean is the man! We hired him for our wedding on Whidbey Island and could not have been more pleased. He did a great job organizing the crowd without being over the top or distracting. Super professional and classy. He was very receptive to our pre-discussed music selections but also took recommendations and tailored to the crowd. He even let us use his projector at the last minute at no additional cost.

Off the hook!
Leaslie and Seattle Parties were a hit. They were priced right. Not the cheapest and not the most expensive either. The value Leslie delivered exceeded our expectations. Use them if they are available.
Having Leslie MC, and help guide our wedding night along was done flawlessly. People couldn't stop talking about the music and from the time the music started, people didn't stop dancing until the end of the night. A blast was had by all.

We loved DJ Sean! From our first meeting you could tell he was passionate about music in general and a true expect in his field. We had a wide span of ages and tastes and he covered them all. The sound for the ceremony was perfect, no glitches, and he made us an audio recording which we love. His pricing was fair and inclusive. We didn't have to worry about extra hours or add on's. We were referred to DJ Leslie of Seattle Parties through our friends who had hired her for their wedding. The moment we met her, we knew that she was the perfect choice to bring the party on our special day! Leslie met with us several times leading up to our wedding and was very resourceful in helping us select songs. AMAZING! My partner and I just got married and music was a critical component of the entire day. When we met DJ Leslie, we knew she was the right choice. She listened as we talked about the type of music we wanted and guided us through brilliantly - from the moment guests arrived until the last one left. Music was always present and always fit the moment in time. Our day was so special and she made it truly unforgettable. This was a destination wedding that required a few hours of travel. Hiring DJ Sean was one of the first and best decisions we made. He has a very laid-back approach and we were immediately comfortable with him - he isn't about the bells and whistles, just wants to play great music and throw a good party. Our reception music was perfect and everyone had a great time on the dance floor. Everything was exactly as we discussed and the songs transitioned smoothly; we got a lot of compliments about the music from our guests too. He also helped cut our first dance song to our desired length and provided uplighting.
